Plushie Manual
Introduction
Plushie is an interactive design system that allows
nonprofessional users to design their own original plush toys.
The user interactively designs a 3D model by sketching and
the system automatically generates the corresponding 2D cloth pattern.
The user can sew the pattern to obtain an original plush toy.

the video clip before proceeding.

1) Right-button drag changes the camera position.
2) Look at the model from several different angles.
3) Right-button drag immediately after a right-button click scales the object.
1) Create an Object:
Draw a closed stroke on the blank canvas by the left-button dragging.
(Leave a litte space between the start and end point of the stroke.)
2) Adding a Part:
1:Draw a closed stroke within the object by left-button dragging.
2:The stroke is painted on the object's surface as a closed red line.
3:Rotate the model to bring the red stroke to its sideview.
4:Draw a stroke specifying the shape of the extrusion.
(Leave a litte space between the red line on the surface and the stroke.)
3) Adding a Flat Part (easy):
If you draw a stroke the shape of the extrusion on existing seam line,
you can easilly cleate a flat part.
4) Insertion of a dart line:
Draw a stroke within the object by left-button dragging.
7) Deletion of a dart line:
Tracing the target seam line by left-button dragging while holding down the Alt key.
(a) This is a 3D model panel.
(b) Choose [Rendering]->[connector] on the 2D pattern panel.
(c) Coose [Rendering]->[piece number] on the 2D pattern panel.
If you choose [Option]->[rendering piece number] on the 3D model panel,
the system shows piece numbers on the 3D model.
